Your Car: The second largest investment you'll make!

Never drive a vehicle that could be unsafe to drive due to collision damages. Here at Chapman we will gladly arrange to have your vehicle towed to the repair facility.

Some Insurance Companies may want you do visit their drive-in claims center before having your vehicle repaired. You can do this or you may leave your vehicle at our repair facility and ask that the insurance company inspect the vehicle here. Chapman works closely with all insurance companies and we keep close communication with them to advise them of all work and repairs that need to done to your vehicle to ensure that you are getting your repairs done safely and quickly.

By law, you are not required to obtain more than one estimate or appraisal for the repairs to your vehicle. All you need to do is advise the insurance company that you have chosen Chapman Collision and we will take care of the rest!

Here are answers to some frequently asked questions about the repair process:

  • You have the right to choose the repair facility of your choice. Your insurance company cannot require you to go to a particular shop; however they may recommend a reputable repair facility in your area.

  • Differences in repair estimates are common. A lower estimate may not include all necessary work and could ultimately delay the repair process. If you're not sure why one estimate is different from another you have received, don’t hesitate to ask one of our trained staff and they can explain any differences to you.

  • Make sure that the repair facility offers a warranty on all repairs. Chapman Collision offers every customer our industry-best warranty that protects you for as long as you own your vehicle.
  • Choose a repair facility that has unibody repair equipment and trained technicians.
  • Choose a facility that has "Standard Operating Procedures" in place to ensure that you will receive excellent customer service.
  • Let us help guide you through the claims process and help you work with the insurance company. Chapman Collision has established positive business relations with virtually every insurance company, this allows for a faster, smoother repair process.
  • Ask the repair center to pre-arrange a rental vehicle. The average car is in the repair shop for approximately two weeks, ask if the shop can make recommendations for a rental company.
